The long driveway marked out by rows of vines, which stretch in both directions as far as the eye can see. This gives you immediately an impression of the vastness of this property. Surrounded by an amazing  garden, rich with a variety of flowers, plants and sculptures of important artists of contemporary art, Villa Tirrena is a villa of exceptional size and luxury.
In addition to the vineyard of 31 hectares, there is a fascinating cellar where wine is produced, with an elegant tasting room. Both can be reached via a long underground passage-way from the villa.
The villa has an elongated shape and its most panoramic side looks out over the spectacular landscape of Calanchi, (rocky inland promontories), a natural phenomenon created by deep scarring landslides that are caused by the erosive action of water over hundreds of years.

Bedrooms

The bedrooms are luxuriously decorated, with an individual style for each room, each with a telephone, air conditioning, satellite TV and mosquito nets in front of the windows. The bathrooms are finished to a high standard. The main villa sleeps 16 guests.

1 bedroom with two twin beds (separated or united as requested) ensuite bathroom with bath tub (with a small communicating room with 2 additional single beds that can be used as baby/kids room or massage room).

The annex of Villa Tirrena has 5 additional ensuite bedrooms (10 guests), two of which with double bathroom.

Indoors

Kitchen with fireplace, dining room with fireplace with big table for 16/18. There are two kitchens, 1 industrial one (with all modern equipment) recently used by the cook and 1 winter kitchen for guests.
Three adjoining elegant sitting rooms face onto an enormous living room which enjoys spectacularly large windows. In harmony with the living room and the kitchen there is a spacious pergola which holds a table for 12 and an outdoor living space. 
The large swimming pool (heated when necessary), looks out onto the panoramic garden and is protected by glass door that can be partially opened. A large pergola that can be equipped for lunch or dinner purposes is in harmony with the swimming pool. To reach the swimming pool you cross a large sitting room which boasts a fireplace and a plasma screen TV.
The suspended garden has geometric-shaped hedges and contains many pieces of contemporary art of the private collection of the d’Amico’s.

Over the past 35 years, domain owners have been collecting works by key artists from the contemporary world scene such as Anish Kapoor, Banksy and Mitoraj. They are strategically spread among rose bushes, lemon trees and cypresses in a game of hide and seek of the unique sculpture garden of the region. They have also dedicated a special secret garden to their close friend, the British travel writer and conservationist Mark Shand, with sculptures from his Elephant Family Association such as toucans, gorillas and crocodiles. Without a doubt, a memorable scenery where nature, art and love for beauty walk hand in hand.
