This holiday villa is a wonderful place from which to explore Tuscany and Umbria.

The house is located on top of a hill within 50 acres of oak woodland, pastures and olive groves, with sweeping views over the Tuscan countryside. This beautiful and elegant villa has several terraces, where to dine or just to relax. Also, the pool is heated, which allows you to enjoy the water in spring and autumn.

Indoors

The Tuscan farmhouse has 3 floors.

Ground floor:

• Entrance Hall
• Beautiful fully equipped kitchen with fireplace and arch to dining room with French doors leading to covered loggia
• Full bathroom (tub with wall-mounted shower and curtain) can be both private to the bedroom and serve as a guest bathroom
• 1 large master bedroom (king) with elegant four-poster bed and views over the garden with door opening to the pool. Beautifully finished ensuite bath (tub with hand –held shower, shower stall)
• Living room occupies entire end of house, opening to the pool through double doors. TV with satellite, CD, tape player, radio. Large fireplace. An alcove includes a large antique desk and fax
• 1 twin bedroom (cannot be converted into double bed) with iron frame beds

First floor:

• 1 bathroom
• 1 double bedroom (queen) with canopied bed
• Loggia
• 1 second master bedroom (queen) with four-poster bed, alcove for desk. Two large windows frame the countryside view. Very large closet. Ensuite bath (tub with wall-mounted shower).
• 1 single bedroom with sleigh bed (french bed) plus desk and dresser. Opens to private westfacing terrace and views on Monte Amiata and Monte Cetona. Walk-in closet and ensuite bathroom

Lower ground floor:

• 1 small twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom
• Utility room with washer and dryer

The air conditioning is vailable during summer months (cooling only).
The Tuscan farmhouse is heated compulsory during winter and colder months.

The Tuscan farmhouse offers a private pool with 14m X 5,5 m, which can be heated at extra charge.

Location

Villa Cetona is a 20-minute drive from the A1 motorway(Rome-Florence) and the rail station of Chiusi (Intercity trains to Rome or Florence-Milan). The village has fine restaurants, shops, banks, pharmacy, etc. Its central location between Rome and Florence, and its flourishing artistic and social life. If Guest can manage to draw themselves away from the relaxation of Villa Marta than not far away there are also manyother delightful places to visit as Cetona, Montepulciano, Montalcino as well as Florence, Siena and Arezzo for longer day trip.

Note

If you ask in advance to have the pool or the house heated, or if you need the housekeeper providing any extra service, you will be requested to leave a 1500 Euros cash deposit to the housekeeper at check in time. If you do not require any pool or house heating nor any additional service, the deposit procedure will be as follow : 2000.00 Euros security deposit must be paid by wire transfer along with the balance of the villa fee.
